It’s been awhile since I’ve done a writing update and goal list here on the blog. I have been writing, but it feels like it has been at a snail’s pace.
Summer was so much fun with the family, but my quiet time really took a hit. And the inconsistency of my schedule threw me for a loop. School has been back in swing for well over a month, and I am just now feeling like I have found my rhythm.
October is hands down my favorite month of the year-even here in sweaty Florida. October also marks the beginning of the final quarter of the year. So I figured that if I want to complete the lofty writing goals I set back in January, I’d better at least try to knuckle down and write.
I always tend to set more goals than I can realistically accomplish, but that isn’t a bad thing. While I strive to knock them all out, if I get stuck, or need a break, I am able to jump to another goal and keep going. This system works well for me.
