October Writing Goals + Exciting News!

So, before I get into my goals recap, I have a bit of news. I have been selected to be a judge for the Cybils Awards! I will be helping judge in the Fiction Picture Book and Board Book category. BookTube-A-Thon 2017 TBR

This past week, I discovered this awesome thing called BookTube-A-Thon. Here’s a quick video about what it is specifically: Basically it is a week-long reading marathon where everyone tries to read as much as possible. There are daily challenges and reading challenges and it just seems like it will be so much fun. Reset Refresh Rebound

2 months without a post. What have I been up to, you may ask? Read 5 books. All were good. Really enjoyed What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions by  Randall Munroe. It is basically the book version of Randall’s blog and is hilariously informative. I also enjoyed reading with my daughter Yours Sincerely, Giraffe by Megumi Iwasa. I picked up Bird Box by Josh Malerman because I was nominated for a Bram Stoker award. It was entertaining and a bit creepy.
